cha winter 2013 : doodlebug design

Doodlebug Design has long been known for their colorful, whimsical scrapbooking supplies, and their new collections unveiled at CHA Winter 2013 definitely don't disappoint in that department! Doodlebug has now also added washi tape to their embellishment lineup, and I have to admit that (even though the last thing I need is more washi) I'm pretty well smitten with the designs! If you remember how nuts I went over their Doodle Twine when it was introduced a couple of years ago, then you get the idea!

I love a good patriotic collection, and Doodlebug's Stars & Stripes collection is pure red, white, and blue fun!

Items to fit pocket page protector systems such as Project Life are a hot trend in the industry right now, with many manufacturers making cut-apart sheets or pads of journaling cards that are 4x6 and 3x4 pocket friendly. Doodlebug has gone the pad route and is releasing a set of "Simply Put" journaling cards with each of their new collections.

The Flower Box collection is Doodlebug's spring line. Last year Doodlebug combined Spring and Easter into a single collection, but this year they've gone with just the floral theme.

Take Note is Doodlebug's "everyday" themed line, and I think that every color in the Doodlebug palette is represented here. It's such a cheerful, fun rainbow of products!

Many thanks to May Flaum for calling my attention to this roll of rainbow dot washi in particular. I love that little touch of ombre in the pattern!

The juicy, fruity Fruit Stand collection will be perfect for both Spring and Summer photos, and like Take Note, it's an absolute rainbow of color!

The Lovebirds collection by Doodlebug has been available in stores for a month or so now (you can find it here at Two Peas in a Bucket), but I couldn't resist shooting a few photos of this lovely Valentine's themed line as it hung in the booth.

Doodlebug has teamed up with both Hampton Art (who has produced Doodlebug stamps in the past) and Sizzix to create a new line of stamps with matching dies. They've got quite a few sets available to get things started!

And of course Doodlebug has long been known for their great selection of basic supplies in every color of their signature palette. At this show they're showing of their newest letter sticker font (also available now at Two Peas) along with polka-dot washi in a dozen different colors.
