cha winter 2012 | webster's pages

My last booth tour post for CHA Winter 2012 just happens to feature a manufacturer with a name falling near the end of the scrapping alphabet- Webster's Pages! That little coincidence was completely unintentional, and while having a name starting with "W" may put Webster's near the bottom of an alphabetical list of manufacturers, they're certainly near the top in terms of style!

Webster's Pages came to CHA Winter 2012 with five diverse new lines to show off. While this show saw many manufacturers producing two or more lines with a common theme but slightly different color schemes (think Echo Park's This and That or Bella Blvd.'s Baby Boy and Baby Girl collections), all four of Webster's Pages new offerings have their own unique theme and color palette.

I somehow missed getting any photos of Everyday Poetry from their booth, but you can see the entire collection here on the Webster's Pages web site.

In Love is Webster's wedding line, and its chic collection of black, white, and cream prints with the slightest hints of a few supporting pastel shades leaves it simply dripping with sophistication.

This heart print is representative of something completely new to the Webster's Pages family this show- Clean and Simple additions to their signature complex and gorgeous paper designs. Each new Webster's collection now also includes an additional six Clean and Simple paper patterns that make it easier for more linear scrappers (like me!!) to use their products. I for one love what I'm seeing here and hope that Webster's Pages continues this addition to the product line.

Webster's is known not only for detailed paper designs, but also for that same attention to detail in their embellishments.

Sunday Picnic is my favorite of Webster's Pages new releases (in fact it was one of my pre-show sneak peek picks at Scrapbook Update). It's so bright and spring-y/summer-y and just happy!

I can't wait to use these journaling cards in my Project Life album!

Sunday Picnic may be a spring-into-summer line, but Palm Beach is definitely all summer! Featuring a coral, yellow, and blue color scheme and sporting beach icons such as umbrellas and swimsuits, Palm Beach is perfect for scrapping your summer getaway photos.

Ummm, can I just say squeeee?!?!? I love the cameos in this collection- especially the dolphin and seahorse pieces!

Game On is Webster's Pages' new sports collection, and they've definitely put their signature vintage spin on the theme. There are lots of very masculine colors here.

I mentioned how detailed Webster's Pages' embellishments are a bit earlier, and I wanted to take a closer look at a few more of them, including these cameo and butterfly pushpins, not to mention the big cameos themselves!

Designer Threads are doilies done Webster's style- aren't they just lovely?

Sparklers are a popular item in the Webster's Pages catalog. These shiny little gems are about the size of small to medium buttons and can be used to add a touch of glimmer to just about any project.

Webster's also introduced new Perfect Motifs- their take on die cuts. It's left up to the crafter to either cut out the entire square an image is contained in or just the image itself as it suits the needs of the project.

And of course no visit to the Webster's Pages CHA booth is complete without a look at their luscious trims.

Stop and Scrap currently has all five new releases available in their Webster's Pages section, and you can save and extra 12% off the listed price by using coupon code SCRAPPYJEDI. They're listed as shipping by the middle of February, so I expect (unless there's been a manufacturing delat) that they will be in stock any day now.
