cha winter 2012 | jenni bowlin

The Jenni Bowlin CHA booth always feels like home to me. The company is based near my hometown in Tennessee (in fact, the owners live not too far from where I attended high school), and when I step into Jenni's booth filled with vintage trinkets and treasures (and tons of great paper and embellishments, too!), I can't help feeling that all is right with the world.

Jenni Bowlin introduced two new paper lines at this show. I'll start with Wren and the fact that I simply adore the text on the cover of this paper pad- "Free spirited patterns in a color palette that's a fresh take on vintage."

How can you not love that?

And how can you not love a line that includes both vintage reference book prints and blueprints? Geek is hot right now, people, and Jenni's vintage take on it is simply stunning!

These perforated ticket papers, ledgers, and alphabet stencils hold so many possibilities!

Jenni's Magpie collection had me at "hexagons."

I love how Jenni is trendy while at the same time always staying true to her own style. Almost all of her current papers coordinate with past papers, so the line stays fresh even when you mix in patterns that are several years old.

Speaking of trendy, there are chevrons here, too!

Jenni Bowlin also carries a signature line of inks (by Ranger) and embellishments that coordinate across all the lines.

These butterflies were the hit of the show for Jenni when they were introduced last January, and they're still going strong a year later.

I need some of these journaling cards for Project Life!

And these tickets would be great for Project Life, as well.

Speaking of geeky things, this protractor stamp totally speaks to me!

Seriously for a math geek like me, there's nothing better! And on a completely unrelated topic I think I spot one of Stephanie Howell's gorgeous girls on the layout beside it.

Here are more of those trendy hexagons in the form of Jenni's new Quilted Stickers.

And another round of journaling items. Do I need to mention Project Life again? :)

Jenni introduced a new line of Project Bases at the show, as well, designed to give crafters a vintage-style, out-of-the-box (or in the box in the case of the Cigar Boxes) place to build home decor projects.

Jenni's booth hinted at a partnership with Fiskars during the summer show last year, and it's now come to fruition with the introduction of a new set of border and shape punches in Jenni's signature style.
